Hello.. I would like to check if Androwish is compatible with Android 10 Operating System. I have installed the Flux Capacitor version on my Android 10 tablet. Installation proceeded as per normal. No issues. However when I opened the Androwish app & used it to install an app, it was not able to read any files in the tablet’s storage (was able to do this with Android OS 8 & 9, no problems). Everything was blank. Instead received the auto message that this version has been developed for older applications. Thus wasn’t able to proceed with program installation. Would appreciate your advise. Thanks.. chw added on 2022-07-09 05:33:25: Currently, I have no Android 10 device for testing. oehhar added on 2022-08-02 14:23:03: Hi, Magic Christian has asked me to answer. I have an Android 11 system. The following may also apply to Android 10. The warning message is ok and has no impact. I had no issues to write to a file: % set h [open test.txt w] file74 % puts $h abc % close $h % pwd /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/de.elmicron.scanlink/files/tmp Remark, that with Android 11, the related folder is write protected for other applications. I can only see the created file, but not open it with Total Commander. May it happen, that you get trapped by the new file protection scheme of Android 11? Many folders are now write protected. You may also get trapped by the new rights. It might be helpful to check the rights of your application in Android. Hope this helps. Enjoy, Harald |
